How to make a desktop able to recieve wireless internet in a free wireless city connection?
My parents live in a free wireless internet zone city and have a dell desktop that runs windows xp. How can I set them up to recieve the wireless signal to get the internet? Currently they are not hooked up to any connection wired or wireless and do not have a wireless card installed. The computer has an internal modem.

you have to get a wireless card. Bestbuy, circuit city or compusa have ok ones. newegg.com is also good. If you are not good with computers get a external wireless adapter. When you plug it in and install the software. There should be a something to choose a wireless network.
