No matter where I set the computer I had this installed on I only got 2 bars. 2 pretty weak two bars.
I wouldn’t buy this again.
When I bought another cheap one, it got 4 bars anywhere, like the other wifi machines in my house.
It’s cheap but if you only want 2 bars…

WUSB54GC v1 is silver-colored, v2 is white, v3 is black.
The unit shipped to me was black, unlike the picture. v1 and v2 are linux compatible. V3 does not work with linux. Be warned. Hassle and return issues may be in your future if you are buying this for use with linux.

This is the 3rd cisco refurbished product I’ve bought and they all work. I think who ever returned them didn’t know how to use/install but for these prices I hope they keep returning items!!!

Bought this for my girlfriends computer so we could get rid of the cable running across her front room. So far it works great! no problems. I think I might buy another one for my kids computer, again to get rid of the cable running through the front room.
